Today’s mental assignment can be done on your lunch break, at the dinner table with your family or at any time of the day. Today we want you to notice the here and now. Take a moment to simply ‘be’ in the moment – feel the sun and wind on your face, notice the air you are breathing and the people around you. It’s easy to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life or to think about the past or plan for the future. At some point during the day take time out and focus your attention on being in the moment. Making a conscious effort to be aware of your inner and outer world is important for your mental health.
